Welcome to Nina's Custom Jewelry The jewelry you see here mostly comes from my basic desire to create something new and unique to wear while showing at and attending APHA & AQHA horse shows. For those of you who are in the show world you understand we are a group of people who like something with that extra “flair” or “horse” feel. After many years of helping youth and amateur clients design or purchase custom clothes for their appropriate classes, I found myself searching antique malls, swap meets and flea markets for that perfect accessory to finish off the outfits. Many times I would find a beautiful piece of silver or turquoise and it would be in an old or damaged piece. Out of necessity comes invention is something I once heard and this is the case with my jewelry designs. I started learning how to add quality pieces to these finds and create the look I wanted. Not always able to find that perfect old piece, I also purchase high quality materials from jewelry and stone markets to bring my ideas to reality. After many requests from customers that I may only see occasionally at shows from California to Florida, I have placed some of my designs on this site for your consideration. I have included some of the more unique items of art and interest that I have found in my travels of the country. I also have the opportunity to purchase some very inexpensive costume jewelry that may just fit the need of what to wear without the fear of losing an expensive item at a horse show. You can find these under the appropriate section of this site. I can add length to most of my designs for the taller, slimmer customer or remove length for those who like a snugger fit around the neckline or wrist. If you have a favorite piece or elements of several pieces and want to see them come to life as a one of a kind piece for you, just use our contact page to tell me what you have in mind. I will be happy to work with you to get that perfect accessory to finish off your desired look. I hope you enjoy my website. Sincerely, Nina Willis |

A lot of my pieces were created with the petite person in mind. However , I can add length to most of my designs for the taller, slimmer customer or remove length for those who like a snugger fit around the neckline or wrist.
